Hi I'm RJ Sara - Short Stories (Tanglish)

I used to dream a few stories! But, most of the time a story with new characters gets played in my dream with a screenplay! And that's how I wrote this story! 

Story: Anand is a new joinee in a software company. He faces a few tough situations in his office, unlike all the newcomers. One fine day he's been exhausted on his work, frustrated over the abuses he faces in his office. That fine evening, while going back home from the office, he listens to an RJ Named Sarah in a Cab. He just got impressed with the way of her jocktalk, thinks himself that the RJ's talk had given him a new strategy to follow in his life, which would keep him calm and composed and help him to not overreact to the things which bother him. Anand Continues to listen to the RJ's show daily or whenever possible… He even tries to make a call in her show & thank her for all the good pieces of advice she gives through on-air. But he couldn't, Anand completely fell for her, since the topics she picks and speaks is completely suit him, coincidence maybe! He daily comes home and listens to her show on the night and often says about her to his mom. Though Anand's mom always wanted him to get married Anand thought often ends in saying no. One fine day he confesses to his mom that he would like to marry a girl but he demands that the girl should have characteristics like RJ Sarah. As the conversation fades, they are starting and getting ready for a function that is supposed to happen in his mom's village. 

They reach their native village on that night. Anand hasn't been to that village in recent times. The last time he visited that place was around 12yrs ago. At the time he had been doing his +12 exams. 

At the night, as soon they reach their guest's house he tunes to the FM to listen to her dream girl RJ Sarah's show. But ends up getting disappointed. Though the village is quite far from his living town he couldn't able to get the frequency properly. Sleeps that night without hearing her show. As the function in their village is about to hit in the next three days, Anand gets engaged with his preparation works for the function. 

On the function day, Anand sleeps in his room as he worked all night arranging things and coordinating guests. He suddenly wakes up to a familiar voice that he could hear from the ground floor. No, that voice is not his usual mom's voice. It's a girl's voice, the voice which Anand has been familiar with, yes Anand guesses that voice to be his favorite RJ Sarah. He's damn sure about that voice as he's never failed to listen to that voice for the past few days. 

While guessing and walking towards the voice. He meets a girl, where the girl has been playing around with the kids in that home and suddenly stops and started staring at each other for a while and gets paused at their looks. The girl smiles, Anand does that even before the girl starts. He's about to ask her whether she's the one who hosts the city famous show, and her name is RJ Sarah? Suddenly his mom interrupts and says that "Dai poi modal kulichutu va da" (Go and take a bath first) and by then she's Saraswati your perippa Ponnu (Which is similar to saying that Saraswati is his sister). Though Anand is not that fool to believe that Sarah and Saraswati are two different people. He guessed that Sarah might be her radio name. Since she's been working in the city's famous radio station and they might have demanded her to keep a stylish name for ON AIR he thought. Though he made sure that she's the one who's been doing the radio show through her familiar voice. He's yet to get confirmed from the girl himself, he also thinks that even though if he comes to know that she's the one whom he listens to every night he ends up groaning that he can't marry her because she's a sisterly figure to him as per his mom said. 

He's upset indeed, wherever he goes in his house, the girl appears in front of him with a smile, just a smile, and moves. Not even a word she or him spoke each other right from the moment they met.

In the afternoon, where a few of his guests arrive at their village home, Anand's Perippa makes an entry and speaks with Saraswati a few words, and meets Anand and has a conversation on how he's been doing in his new company. Soon the next guest arrives, it is supposed to be Anand's uncle, His mom's elder brother. Without realizing Anand's presence, his mom louds her voice and says that "Ma Sarah un appa vandhrukar, avarta, and bag ah vai vai ma" (Sarah, your dad has come just go and collect the bags from him). 

Anand on a cloud nine face, slowly turns the face on his mom's side and sees Saraswati together and winks his eyes, that you guys are caught red-handed. 

Anand's mom silently reveals her surprise plan that she had pranked him on this. As she's well aware of his son's dream girl RJ Sarah and his one-sided love for her. She happens to know last week that RJ Sarah is none other than her own elder brother's daughter aka Saraswati. Where she had been forcing him to marry her initially but dropped it as he said no, and even after looking for other girls, but none got a yes from him and eventually she got to know about his love towards Sarah and she happens to be her brother's daughter. 

"We both had planned to shock you initially about this and surprise you at the end of the day". Unfortunately, we had to reveal it in the mid itself. 

After knowing, that It was all a prank by his mom and his dream girl Sarah aka Saraswati. He smiles & stares at Sarah and moves towards her. Both of them smiling at each other. 

Before Anand tries to speak with her. Sarah lends her hand front & introduces herself as "Hi I'm RJ Sarah".
